Leikisti is an experimental Finnish fashion label that designs women´s wear, a collection comes out twice a year consisting of unique pieces made from recycled materials.

Leikisti was founded by two fashion designer students, Johanna Porola and Paula Hynynen, in 2006.  “Leikisti” is a Finnish phrase used by children translated as “make believe”. The name embodies the designers’ situation as learning students but it also reflects the adventurous spirit of the label: Leikisti wants to find new solutions in clothing and play with forms without restrictions. This design ethos is reflected in quirky and distinguished Leikisti collections. Ecological values are an important basis for Leikisti and they are considered troughout the whole production.
